What to Expect

Prior to Appointment

Our Clinical Treatment Coordinator will send you a new patient packet to fill out via email and return to the office 24 hours prior to your appointment. Please be sure to bring your medical and dental insurance cards with you on your first visit.

Our new patient experience is split into two appointments.

Office Tour Main

1st Appointment

Your first appointment with our office is scheduled for 45 minutes and will include a 20-minute evaluation with one of our doctors. During this appointment there will be information gathered by an assistant.

The information typically collected are photos and i-CAT images that allow the doctor to examine your head and neck in 3-D, including an evaluation of the adequacy of your airways. The doctors will briefly go over their findings at this time. After this appointment you will schedule your second appointment with our Clinical Treatment Coordinator.

2nd Appointment

Your second appointment with our office is scheduled for 60 minutes. During this appointment, the findings from your exam and records will be discussed in detail. The doctor will have prepared a treatment plan that addresses the issues discovered.

Once you receive your treatment plan, you will be introduced to our Financial Coordinator to discuss your financial options. At the end of this appointment you will schedule any appointments needed to start treatment, with our Clinical Treatment Coordinator.

Because of Dr Lynn and Ed Lypskis, I learned about my neck pain and its relationship to a small mouth having had extractions and orthodontics as a kid. Although complex, Dr’s Ed and Lynn collaborate to solve the TMD related issues while providing a plan that normalizes the function of my mouth while providing a fuller bigger smile! There is not a practice in the Midwest that offers a comprehensive solution that goes beyond teeth. I am grateful that I took their course and realized that I needed to be their patient.

So, I am a dentist, and I took my daughter to the expert for care. I noticed my 5 year old was not breathing through her nose as she should. I had taken her to the ENT about 6 months back, and was very disappointed, the doctor looked at her throat for about 4 seconds and no images were taken. Dr. Ed took 3d imaging of her entire skull and facial bones, they took about 30 photos of every aspect of her posture, face and teeth. They explained in detail which parts of her anatomy are not working well and why, and how we can fix this for her best long term health. My daugher and I both are really excited to work with Dr. Ed to get her breathing well and healthy!

I came into The Centre for Integrative Orthodontics with severe pain related to TMJ. Starting first with mouth guards under the care of Dr. Lin, and then transitioning to braces under the care of Dr. Ed -- I now have NO PAIN! I am SO thankful for their excellent, professional, compassionate, attentive, and friendly services! I highly recommend them for anyone experiencing TMJ pain!

Dr. Ed is amazing! My daughter, husband, and I all go to see him for our orthodontic care. He is airway focused and definitely has a vast knowledge base that goes way beyond standard orthodontic practices. He understands how his work will impact breathing, sleep, and oral structure, not just how to straighten teeth. Dr. Lipskis looks at the whole person using the latest diagnostics and a team approach.
